Dr. Mercedes di Pasquo, independent researcher of CONICET (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas, Argentina) and chairwoman of ALPP (Asociacíon Latinoamericana de Paleobotánica y Palinología), wrote a note about the II Workshop about about computational tools for palynological studies. ALPP’s chairwoman highlighted RCPol’s effort to build a pollen database with open access, she referred to our initiative as the “Path to the first South American Pollen Catalogue”.
