The Asociación Latinoamericana de Paleobotánica y Palinología, ALPP, is a non-profit technical-scientific entity, open to students and professionals from the areas of Geology, Biology, Geography, Archeology, Medicine, Chemistry and Allied, as well as to citizens and institutions that are related to Paleobotany and Palynology.
The main objective of the ALPP is the promotion of Paleoteology and Palynology in the Latin American area through the exchange of knowledge among the different Latin American institutions, of the action in the education and dissemination sectors and of the integration with other Associations of Latin America and other continents.
The ALPP acts in the Latin American area, is directed by a Steering Committee, with a mandate of four years, based in the main institutions of the continent and has the collaboration of regional delegates and with the active participation of all its members.
