XVII Brazilian Congress and X Latin American Congress of Entomology – Health, Environment and Agriculture
From September 2nd to 6th, 2018 was held the XVII Brazilian Congress and X Latin American Congress of Entomology in the city of Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
RCPol participated in the event by the participation of Dr. Cláudia Inês da Silva, our coordinator, who attended to the roundtable “The importance of bees in natural and agricultural environments”. Organized and moderated by the researcher of Embrapa Amazônia Oriental (and collaborator of RCPol) Dr. Márcia Motta Maués, the roundtable was also attended by the researchers Dr. Favízia Freitas de Oliveira (Universidade Federal da Bahia) and Dr. Lucas Garibaldi (Instituto de Investigaciones em Recursos Naturales, Agroecología y Desarrollo Rural – Argentina). Dr. Claudia presented a lecture entitled “Pollen analysis and bee conservation: innovation for sustainability”.
