Embrapa Amazônia Oriental
The laboratory generates knowledge that contributes to the management and conservation of the Amazonian flora, as well as disseminating information about the plants of the region. It is composed of scientific collections, such as the Herbarium, Xylotheque, Fruit Collection, Photographs Collection and others (nomenclature types, seeds, seedlings and flowers). The IAN Herbarium is a Faithful Keeper of Genetic Heritage Samples (CGEN).
