Universidade Federal do Ceará
The bee research group of Universidade Federal do Ceará was created in 1996 by Prof. Breno Magalhães Freitas, being named “Bee-Plant Interactions for pollination and production” and is registered in Diretório Nacional de Grupos de Pesquisa – CNPq. The group develop studies in several bee species, social and non-social, and related subjects. Its members are involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching in Biology, Agronomy and Animal Science, conducting extension work in their areas of expertise, especially with undergraduate students.
