Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia
The Laboratory of Palynology and Paleobotany is dedicated to carry out paleobotanical and palioclimatic studies based on analyzes of micro-remains (pollen, phytoliths and starches) and macro-remains. These studies are applied in archaeological projects for the reconstruction of natural environments and cultures of the past, using sediments, artifacts (ceramic and lithic) and coprolites. In addition, they perform palynological analyzes for studies on quality control of bee products, taxonomy and allergology.
